Latest Property Protected By Moorcroft
Moorcroft Vacant Property Management is pleased to have assisted a client to secure their recently purchased property.
The property is a large industrial unit along with an attached office complex. The client approached us soon after purchase as there had been evidence in the area of fly tipping on nearby sites and there was a concern that the empty property would be vulnerable as we highlighted in a recent news story.
We attended the site quickly and undertook an assessment as to the vulnerabilities of the property and produced a list of recommended actions.
The initial activity saw a temporary monitored alarm system installed while we were at site which provides full coverage of the industrial unit and the offices. We ensured that some of the PIR detectors have camera capability which in the event of activation ensures that not only are false alarms minimised but that any genuine activations would capture what was happening at the site.
Whilst undertaking our inspection we came across doors which were not secured effectively and undertook work to secure these before we left site.
We also provided the client with an insurance compliance report highlighting work which would be required by any insurer of the site so it is insurance compliant. Once agreed, these works will be managed by Moorcroft to ensure a site which is secure and insurance compliant.
