The Property Guardian scheme is not suitable for everyone and there are a number of criteria which have to be met before you can become a guardian. Typically, if you can answer yes to the questions below you will be eligible to be part of the scheme.
Age
Are you over the age of 21? This is a stipulation to become a Property Guardian.
Are you employed?
All our Property Guardians must be employed with a regular income
References
Do you have references available? References must be provided to show that prospective Guardians are reliable, responsible and have followed previous tenancy conditions
Responsive
Can you move quickly? Due to the flexible and responsive requirements of the properties we deal with, Guardians need to be able to move into a property quickly and be prepared to leave the property with as little as 2 weeks notice.
Flexible
Are you willing to live in a non-standard property? The properties we deal with are often non-conventional and may not have been used for residential accommodation before. You need to be willing to occupy properties like this.
Willing to Save Money
In return for being a property guardian and looking out for where you are living, we charge vastly reduced fees to live in the property
